Bearizona and the Grand Canyon

We started our Sunday morning with a trip to Bearizona Drive-thru Wild life park where we got to see bears, wolves, elk and bison. This was located just outside of Williams and is a must see if you are in these parts. The park will only get better as they expand the enclosures and build a restaurant and hotel.
Look closely for the bear in the background.

We then ventured back into town to check out the famous Twisters 50's Soda Fountain and Route 66 Cafe. Do yourselves a favour and only take photos here, the food is rubbish!
We then made our journey onto the Grand Canyon. The last time that I was here we flew in, and whilst I knew it was spectacular, it is not until you drive into the area that you truly appreciate the magnitude of the canyon. As we arrived late afternoon we had a quick view from Mather Point and then set off in search of a van park.
There you go Tash, I am here!
Look for the animal with Tilly in this next pic!
Unfortunately, the RV parks were all booked out and we had to drive back to Tusayan about 10 minutes down the road to find accommodation. We had the great experience though of seeing a full eclipse with a super moon. Another great day!
